Nixx has been in the scene since 2008 while growing up around music her entire life in dance and singing.

At age 10, her mother taught her how to use turntables on their old Technics, with, in particular, Michael Jackson’s “Off the Wall” and Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" records.

Nixx has been working in the nightlife industry since the age of 18. This has allowed her to take in the music of countless different types of Djs every night and slowly gain influence from them. By the time she started spinning, she had a vision of exactly how she wanted to express herself and her love of music. This expression was to give the crowd what they want, but in a style all her own…Nixx has been known as the DJ to always keep you guessing; She’ll run from Old School to Disco to Hip Hop to Top 40 to EDM/House but always find a way to make sense with it, “Growing up, I was always listening to Motown, blues, R&B, funk, disco, soul, hip hop, rock, and everything in between. I love being able to play around with all of these different genres in my sets”, she says.

Not only does Nixx bring a vast musical knowledge to her sets, but she has years of experience working alongside other talent; Auctioneers, musicians, motivational speakers, and more. She’s opened for countless artists including Ciara, One Republic, Lil Jon, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ruby Rose, Big & Rich, Reckless Kelly, Wade Bowen, and many others.

Nixx has rocked the scene nationwide, from small intimate events to huge corporate conferences to private celebrity parties.

On top of her star-studded resume, Nixx has also DeeJayed countless weddings in cities all over the country. She was awarded "Best of The Knot Hall of Fame", and her 5-star reviews continue to grow!
