Andrew, aka DJ Boom, was born in Venezuela & raised in Miami, and eventually planted his roots in Austin, TX. The son of a concert pianist, Andrew instantly gravitated towards music. At the age of just 12-years-old, he saved up for his first set of turntables, while simultaneously playing in a variety of Latin & jazz bands. He eventually found his calling producing his own electronic music & leading several bands, performing around Texas & touring the US with regularity. He also owns a record label, releasing music for others, & even becoming a member of the Grammy's (Recording Academy). His full scope of the industry gives him a nuanced perspective when it comes to live events.

Andrew has two decades of private event experience under his belt: corporate, wedding, private, birthday, concert, gala, etc. His list of corporate clients are equally impressive, having played music for Facebook, Whole Foods, Red Bull, SXSW, & Bonnaroo Music Festival among many more. He's even traveled as far as Tokyo to rock parties. Andrew takes immense pride in the music he both plays & creates, proven by his rave reviews.
