Dj Donte,  also known as DJ Dontizl, is DJ Nixx Entertainment's Senior DJ, hailing from Dallas, Texas with over 15 years of experience.  He's a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Radio-Television-Film focusing on media studies. His talents have taken him all over Texas as well as places like Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Mississippi and Jamaica. Donte has played weddings, corporate events, night clubs, community events, as well as large music festivals like SXSW. He’s held residency in various venues on the historic 6th street in downtown Austin throughout his tenure. He creates custom mixes for athletes and performance groups and including the Texas Rangers and the UT Longhorn football team.

He has not only mastered the DJ arena but has also traveled several middle schools and high school to speak on the importance of music, determination, and hard work. Donte is a very active member of Greater  Mount Zion Baptist church providing volunteer Disk jockey services in the Youth and young adult ministries. His hobbies outside of music are cars, technology, and sneakers and in his down time enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
